The Optician works with doctors, assistants, technicians, managers, and other department personnel to provide professional eyeglasses dispensing services. Designs vision correction devices to meet the visual, cosmetic, and lifestyle needs of the patients. On the job training provided!

What You'll Do

0.9 FTE. Work 36 hours each week Work weekdays rotating a day off. No weekends! Location: Sparta and Tomah Have the opportunity to travel to other Gundersen optical locations: Onalaska, La Crosse, Prairie du Chien, Tomah, Whitehall, Winona, Waukon, Decorah, Hillsboro, Moundview, Black River Falls, and Whitehall What You'll Need Education: High School Diploma or equivalency Experience: 1 year of experience in a customer service related position Licenses/Certs: American Board of Opticianry (ABO) certification required within 18 months of hire date What You'll Get Starting Pay: $20.
