Social Studies and English Teacher

We are looking for an English and Social Studies Teacher for an international school in Hohhot. This is a full-time position starting in August 2026. Job responsibilities

Teach the subjects English and social studies to high school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Develop supportive and safe learning environments Requirements Bachelor degree or above in the related subject Teaching certificate, such as BC, PGCE/iPGCE & QTS, SACE Two or more years teaching experience in the subject in higher education Excellent communications skills Good understanding of teaching in American or Canada context Benefits Annual Salary is range of 280,000 to 370,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Medical health Insurance Relocation allowance Paid summer and winter holiday China's statutory holiday enjoyment Annual travel benefits 10,000 RMB Visa cost reimbursement up to 1,300 RMB Settlement Allowance of RMB 5,000 RMB and baggage allowance of 10,000 RMB for first time teachers Family benefits: Dependent spouse/children living with the teacher in China receive annual flights, visas, medical insurance and tuition reduction
