Bellingham at West Chester is recruiting for a hospitality focused Medication Technician to join our team! Starting Salary: $22.00/hour Schedule: Full Time 3pm - 11pm shift Perks of Working at Bellingham at West Chester: 401k plan with employer match Dental Insurance Health Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Daily Pay Employee Assistance Program Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Medication Technician: Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.

Gives treatments, performs tests, carry-out procedures and collects specimens as instructed. Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated. Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed. Answers signal lights promptly. Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.

Safely prepares, administers, and charts oral, topical, and suppository drugs. Checks and prepares each dose immediately preceding administration. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Successful completion of the State approved Medicine Aide Course, and when applicable, the continuing education course.

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given. Medication Tech Certification with testing/observation hours required.
