Part-Time School Counsellor | MOE School
Job description
Job Roles & Responsibilities Personnel will work closely with the Full-Time School Counsellor in handling various cases, attending to students’ needs and helping to equip them with the necessary managing/coping mechanisms. Personnel will be expected to manage a drop-in counselling centre for students for the duration of the specific working hours, unless otherwise occupied with active case management work.
Personnel will take on individual and/or group counselling. Personnel will follow school’s SOP with regard to consultation with and feedback to relevant school personnel on pupils counselled, dealing with parents, maintenance of counselling records and handover of cases at the end of the contract to ensure continuity of support for the pupils.
Requirements
Job Requirements At least a Diploma in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling. At least 3 years of full-time experience in: Counselling & Guidance Work with Youths, preferably in the capacity of counsellinh in a secondary school context. Case Management or Social Work Pleasant, good interpersonal skills. Proficient in written and spoken English.
