Sr. Learning & Digital Engagement Specialist

Position Summary

Develops and delivers advanced training initiatives that strengthen selling techniques, clienteling strategies, digital engagement practices, leadership capabilities, and retail technology adoption. Partners with retail leaders to identify performance improvement opportunities and implement learning solutions that enhance associate effectiveness, customer experience, and business results.

Essential Duties

& Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, facilitate, and evaluate advanced learning programs in selling excellence, clienteling, leadership development, digital engagement, and retail technology adoption. Provide expertise and recommendations to retail leaders by identifying performance gaps and recommending learning solutions.

Participate in training strategies supporting the implementation and adoption of retail-facing digital applications and technologies. Partner with business stakeholders to align learning objectives with retail performance goals and organizational priorities. Measure learning effectiveness through business results, performance metrics, adoption data, and participant feedback.

Share expertise and provide guidance to Learning & Digital Engagement team members. Coordinate pilot programs and continuous improvement initiatives related to retail learning and digital enablement. Facilitate workshops, presentations, and learning sessions for retail associates, leaders, and corporate stakeholders. Research emerging trends and recommend improvements that strengthen learning effectiveness, customer experience, clienteling, and digital engagement.

Support change management, communication, recognition, and adoption initiatives that reinforce desired selling and service behaviors. Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to support learning and digital adoption initiatives. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, or Business Administration with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience OR Associate Degree or equivalent with a minimum of seven (7) years in corporate communications or learning and development.

A minimum of five (4) years of successful Ethan Allen (or a similar retailer) design consultant experience is a plus. Excellent presentation/platform, facilitation, and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization. Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and SharePoint.

Strong organizational skills required. Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $68k to $90k, depending on experience.
