Childcare Floater GSRP Teacher

We are seeking GSRP Floater Teacher to suppor t o ur Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) program ! This state funded program support s preschool age children. To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a n associate degree in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent; or a valid classroom CDA credential .

A plus if you have previous experience teaching at-risk children. Required Shift: Monday

Our Hiring Process: Resume screen Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes) Q&A Classroom observation Offer Main Job Responsibilities: Work as a team member in providing a quality educational preschool program. Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring curriculum and assessment. Assist in establishing parent involvement activities. Assist with home visits. Work with individual and small groups of students. Support children’s emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts. Assist children with personal health care needs. Work collaboratively and communicate with the classroom teacher to implement lesson plans, activities, and classroom tasks. Assist teacher with monitoring behavior and supporting the educational process in the classroom. Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, and/or playground. Participate in trainings and on-going professional development. Able to work flexible hours as needed for family involvement activities, including home visits, recruitment events, open house. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
