POCT Clerical Specialist-OB

General Summary: The Clerical specialist/point of care technician assist with the activities of the nursing staff, the patient, the physician, other hospital departments, and visitors. They perform general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the department. When functioning as a POCT, will assist in patient care throughout department, transporting patients safely via wheelchair or stretcher, bathing, obtaining vital signs, and performing other duties as assigned. <
