• Southaven, MS, Salary Range: $21.00 - $28.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day, General Description: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing team in the warehousing and logistics sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding client relationships, ensuring service excellence, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. This role acts as a key liaison between clients and internal operations, ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently and with profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day communication and fostering strong, long-term relationships. Understand client business objectives and provide logistics solutions tailored to their needs. Collaborate with internal departments (senior account executives, operations, warehouse management, transportation, billing) to ensure seamless execution of services.

Monitor service levels and performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction and address any issues promptly. Work with the Billing Department to ensure all customer billing is accurate and timely. Identify potential issues before they become major problems. Prepare and present regular account performance reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients.

Assist in the development of proposals, contracts, and pricing strategies in coordination with the Director of Client Relations. Maintain accurate client records, account updates, and communications in CRM systems. Participate in account audits to ensure all company protocols are being followed. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., WMS, EDI). Ability to work in a warehouse environment as needed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge: High school diploma is required a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred. 2-5 years of experience in account management, customer service in logistics, or warehousing services. Knowledge of supply chain, warehousing operations, or transportation logistics.

Physical Demands: The Account Executive will perform sedentary work, sitting for extended periods and standing. Occasional intermittent movement such as walking, reaching, bending, stooping. Will need manual dexterity with the frequent use of hands and fingers for typing. Visual and auditory capabilities are also required for this position.

Language Skills: The Account Executive must be fluent in English (written and verbal) to perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position successfully. Spanish is a plus.
