And that’s where you come in. Job Description: Senior Product Compliance Engineer/Local Manager Accountabilities Lead the team of Product Compliance Engineer.
Prepare the dossier about compliance with REACH/ROHS/POP/RISL and similar regulations and standards. Responsible of SFRD/CFRD BDG assigned to the local Competence center. Coordination with the global competence center. Prepare the dossiers related to fire smoke regulations EN45545 and/or NFPA130 Assess applicability of EU Directives about Products CE Marking Prepare CE Mark technical dossier for Products CE Marking Be in charge of the Compliance Analysis in accordance with the regulations that control hazardous substances in railway technological equipment and lifecycle assessment Prepare dossiers relating to the regulation for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items (EU and US Regulations) Develop innovative methodologies to be applied as standards in the design process of products and solutions Ensure the Application of Company standard in the local Market aligned with Central Product Certification Function.
Required Skills/Knowledge Good Knowledge about product HSE and Chemical Risk (REACH/ROHS/POP/…) Good Knowledge of EN45545 and/or NFPA130
- Standard for fire protection for Rolling Stock Knowledge about Life Cycle Assessment Methodologies Experience with and an understanding of information related to electrical/electronic/mechanical components At least 3 years of experience as Senior leading a team of people Willing to work in an international team and environment Excellent communication skills Education Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferable), Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent technical/scientific background Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
