Job Summary

The Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport and deliver materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, and sand to various construction sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites. Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition. Maintain accurate records of materials transported and deliveries made. Maintain cleanliness of trucks both inside and outside.

Follow all safety protocols and company policies while on the job site. Communicate effectively with the project manager, equipment operators, and other team members to coordinate material deliveries. Assist with other construction tasks as needed when not driving.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (A or B CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a dump truck driver, preferably in the civil construction industry. Knowledge of construction site safety practices and procedures. Ability to operate and maintain dump trucks and other related equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical stamina and ability to enter/exit and clean truck beds. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as required by project schedules. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
