More about our team As Director of Surgical Services, you will lead a dynamic perioperative team and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing leaders, and hospital leadership to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and operational excellence across a wide range of specialties, including bariatric weight loss, colorectal, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, podiatry, robotic surgery, and urology.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee a fast-paced surgical environment, drive quality and patient safety initiatives, support staff development, and help shape the future growth of surgical services. How you’ll contribute Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for Surgical services. Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient patient care delivery.

Monitor and manage departmental productivity, staffing resources, and workflow. Mentor, coach, and develop staff through ongoing feedback and professional development opportunities. Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth and engagement. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high-quality patient care.

Develop, implement, and monitor action plans to support departmental goals and performance improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve operational and patient care objectives.

What we’re looking for Applicants should have a current Montana RN license or Compact RN License with Montana endorsement, and possess an Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Education: Master’s degree (nursing or relevant field) preferred Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire; PALS and ACLS required within 6 months Experience: Minimum of 5 years of combined experience as a Surgery RN and leader in Surgery services Connect with a Recruiter: Not ready to complete an application, or have questions?
