Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate supports the end-to-end claims process by reviewing, processing, and tracking inbound claims while ensuring clear and timely communication between claimants, internal teams, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers. They respond to phone and email inquiries, research claim details, monitor workflow tasks, and identify irregularities that may require escalation or corrective action. Through accurate documentation and strong customer service, they help deliver a smooth, consistent claims experience for all stakeholders. They will also evaluate coverage and advocate for clients and customers.
What You'll Do
Receive, review, and process inbound claims in accordance with established procedures Respond to phone and email inquiries from claimants, providing accurate information and guidance Constant communication and interaction with Property Management Companies Research claim details and gather supporting documentation to ensure complete and accurate processing Track claim status and monitor workflow tasks to ensure timely progression Identify discrepancies, irregularities, or potential issues and escalate as needed Review insurance policies, coverage terms, exclusions, and limits to help answer claims related questions.
Process claims by gathering documents and other supporting evidence Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claim activity, findings, decisions, and communications Coordinate with internal teams, insurance carriers, contractors, appraisers, legal counsel, and other professionals to process claims efficiently and follow up when necessary.
Keep stakeholders informed, address questions or concerns, and provide consistent customer experience throughout the claims process Assist with report generation and data tracking related to claim activity Adhere to applicable insurance laws, regulations, company procedures, data privacy requirements, and security standards Qualifications: Experience and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered Proven experience adjusting property claims, including claim investigation, coverage review, damage assessment, and settlement negotiation in the short-term and multifamily industries.
Active adjuster license preferred or willingness to obtain required licensure within 60 days of employment Working knowledge of insurance policies, claims practices, and applicable regulatory requirements Ability to use claims management software, digital inspection tools, property management systems, and data analytics platforms Strong analytical, investigative, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, complete documentation Ability to manage multiple claims and priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners Claims Adjuster License required Type Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt (overtime eligible) Location Mason, OH We have an in-office work style, with most team members working in the office from Monday to Thursday and remotely on Friday.
