ASC Cert Surgical Tech

The Surgical Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting the surgical team in providing safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care throughout surgical procedures. Duties include preparing and maintaining the sterile field, setting up surgical instruments and supplies, assisting surgeons and surgical staff during procedures, and ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly accounted for and handled according to infection-control standards.

The Surgical Technologist also assists with room turnover, maintains sterile technique, anticipates the needs of the surgical team, and follows all facility policies and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgery center environment are essential.
