Requirements

� Minimum of three (3) years of experience in hospital settings required in one of the following areas: GI Lab, OPTC � Bachelor�s degree in Business Administration or health care related field required � Valid California Registered Nurse license � Current license with Board of Registered Nursing � Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) � About the Job: � Provides strategic leadership and operational management for the following; Outpatient Treatment Center, and Gastrointestinal Laboratory � Maintains standards for professional practice and regulatory compliance and is responsible for the overall planning, budgeting, staffing, performance, and operation � Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services while maintaining compliance with pertinent laws and regulations.

� Assures the hiring of competent staff, provides for proper orientation, relevant continuing education, and competency validation of staff, setting clear performance expectations and customer service standards � Provides leadership in process improvement. � Implements and maintains the quality management system. � Establishes and assures maintenance of quality and efficiency standards � POSITION SUMMARY: � Coordinates and assists in strategic and operational planning for areas of responsibility as detailed above.

� Participates in the development and implementation of long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the organization around service lines. � Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services while maintaining compliance with pertinent laws and regulations. � Assures the hiring of competent staff, provides for proper orientation, relevant continuing education, and competency validation of staff, setting clear performance expectations and customer service standards.

� Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective safety program in the departments. � Assures records are maintained and day-to-day operations conform to all requirements of applicable local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
