We operate with student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve. We are currently seeking a dedicated Academic Instructor to provide academic instruction and individualized support to students working toward their GED/HSD. This position plays an important role in helping students strengthen their literacy and numeracy skills, achieve their academic goals, and prepare for successful careers. JOB DUTIES Provide academic instruction and training to students working toward GED/HSD completion. Develop individualized achievement plans and academic goals to support student progress. Provide individualized case management to encourage student achievement and program completion. Collaborate with Career Technical Training (CTT) instructors to incorporate applied academics into career training curricula. Maintain an organized, structured, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning. Monitor student progress and provide guidance, mentorship, and support. Promote positive student behavior and reinforce Center policies, dress code, and behavioral standards. Model and reinforce Career Success Standards and professional workplace expectations. Maintain accurate student records and ensure the confidentiality and integrity of student information. Collaborate with staff across departments to ensure students receive quality instruction, supervision, and support. Perform other duties as assigned.

Valid in-state teaching certificate required. Previous teaching experience preferred.
