• Oakmont, PA, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The food runner is responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to our members and guests rapidly and accurately Duties & Responsibilities: Assembling food and accompaniments on trays, procuring items from each station, and serving meals in both a la carte and banquet environments Carrying trays of prepared dishes and accompaniments from the kitchen to the designated dining areas with precision and efficiency. Carrying trays of soiled dishes, silverware, and glassware from the dining areas to the dish area in the kitchen. Expedite; ensuring proper plating, presentation, accuracy, and timely delivery of all food items. Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food to our discerning members and their guests. Supporting kitchen operations by aiding the expediter and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen service areas, including but not limited to; Hot Line, Cold Line, Coffee Station, Water Station, Service Station and Expo & Server Reach-In Coolers. Attending pre-shift meetings to stay informed and prepared; Must arrive “Member Ready”; Timely, Prepared, Hygienic, and ready to service Members and their respective Guests. Attentively, and cooperatively completes all opening, on-shift, and closing side work duties or other duties, as assigned by leadership. Promptly reporting any Member or Guest issues, complaints, or suggestions to Leadership. Assisting in the facilitation of buffets and banquet operations including event set-up, event execution, and event break-down. Comply with health and safety regulations, including responsible food service practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Capability to stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and reach; Capability to perform continuous repetitive motions. Ability to frequently lift objects up to 25lbs and skillfully carry food trays. Friendly and cooperative demeanor to engage seamlessly with Members, Guests, and Staff.

Exceptional communication skills to ensure effective coordination in a dynamic work environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, aligning with the nature of Oakmont Country Club’s demands. Demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional in a face-paced work setting.
