Cook – Full-Time | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM River. Mead | Peterborough, NH Full-time Cook, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM. No early mornings and no late nights. River. Mead, a not-for-profit Life. Plan Community (CCRC) in Peterborough, NH, is looking for a skilled, reliable Cook to join our culinary team. What You'll Do

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including soups, salads, sandwiches, entrées, sides, and desserts Support food service across our dining venues: the Pub, Bistro, Health Center, and Main Kitchen Meet standards for food quality, presentation, consistency, and portion control Help with meal prep, production, plating, and service Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and HACCP guidelines Monitor and record food and refrigeration temperatures Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe Operate kitchen equipment safely and help with routine equipment care Work with chefs, cooks, servers, and the Dining Services team to deliver an exceptional dining experience Pitch in wherever needed to keep meal service running smoothly What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent (required) At least one year of professional cooking experience (preferred) Experience in restaurants, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, catering, or institutional food service is a plus Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen A passion for serving others and an eagerness to learn Pay & Benefits Competitive pay 6% employer retirement match Generous paid time off, with up to 360 hours of rollover $1.
