Deliver Driver

• Saturday; 1:00pm - 10:00pm Summary The purpose of this position is to deliver client medications, food and supplies to all New Narrative residences and outpatient worksites from the New Narrative Pharmacy and Commercial Kitchen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Report to the worksite on time to pick up delivery items.
• Load delivery vehicle with delivery items; ensure the correct items are loaded.
• Drive from the pickup location to each drop off location assigned that day.
• Safely transport medications and food and keep vehicle secure at all times.
• Observe all safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Deliver medications and food from the vehicle to the New Narrative staff person on duty.
• Sign off on delivered items including narcotic medications with the New Narrative staff person on duty.
• Accurately track time and enter it into Workday on a regular basis.
• Unload the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a log of delivered goods for verification.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report any unsafe or faulty equipment immediately.
• Interacts in a positive and professional manner with other employees, management, and consumers.
• Observes a fixed work schedule and communicates any deviations from this schedule to a supervisor in advance.
• Completes other tasks as assigned by supervisor in a timely manner.
• Observe all other New Narrative policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Employee must have a good driving record
• Employee must have both a valid driver’s license
• Employee must be able to pass a criminal background check and cannot have any drug related charges in their past.
• Employee must be able to safely lift and move items up to 75 lb on a regular basis. All of our job openings are located in Portland, Oregon, and the surrounding metro areas.
