Salary Range (final salary offer is based on a number of factors, such as certifications, experience, and more): $23.78 - $26.78/hour PLUS! $0.9615/hour Bilingual Spanish differential PLUS! $0.9615/hour Intensive Services differential This is a field-based position that will travel throughout Los Angeles County.

Experience as a parent or care-providing family member of a consumer of mental health services, DCFS, or Department of Probation services. Spanish fluency required to meet the needs of our clients . Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record under the Agency’s liability policy.
Must pass all applicable health, fingerprint/Live. Scan and DMV clearances. JOB PURPOSE: The Parent Partner serves as a mentor to parents/caregivers offering validation, guidance, empathy, hope and support grounded in their own lived experiences, as a parent who has navigated systems such as child welfare, probation, behavioral or mental health, or special education.
The Parent Partner’s role on the Full Service Partnership (FSP) High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) team is to build trusting, peer-to-peer relationships with parents and caregivers, helping them navigate complex systems, prepare for team meetings, strengthen family bonds, and find sustainable support. The Parent Partner helps parents/caregivers build confidence, reframe challenges, and actively engage in each HFW phase.
Their role is vital in ensuring that the parent/caregiver’s voice, values, and priorities are elevated across the four phases of HFW. The Parent Partner’s own lived experience provides them with a unique lens from which to advocate, from a place of deep empathy and wisdom. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Builds relationships with parents/caregivers rooted in compassion, trust, and shared experience
- Helps parents/caregivers prepare for Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings and other meetings related to their needs
- Supports parents/caregivers in strengthening relationships with their children through modeling, coaching, and communication practice
- Assists parents/caregivers in understanding, accessing, and advocating within child-serving systems
- Provide linkage, advocacy, and coordination services as needed, including using flexible funds to meet family needs.
- Actively contributes to team planning, implementation, and evaluation of family care plans
- Ensures parent/caregiver perspectives shape planning decisions, safety and crisis plans, and service strategies
- Offers feedback to improve practices and uphold HFW principles through the lens of lived experience
- Lived experience as the parent or caregiver of a youth who received services from child-serving systems
- Commitment to practice cultural respectfulness and relevance
- Strong peer engagement and communication skills
- Able to maintain healthy boundaries while building trust Provide individual rehabilitation, linkage, advocacy, and coordination services as needed.
- Provide the majority of services face-to-face in the field, including regular travel to clients’ homes, schools, and community locations.
- Be available and responsive by agency cell phone for crisis management and urgent family needs.
- Attend all assigned training meetings, supervision sessions, and professional development activities.
- Meet established documentation, billing, and productivity expectations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor. WORK SCHEDULE: (subject to change based on Center’s needs) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Work-Week: Sunday
