Summer 2027 IT Network Intern

Primary Duties / Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day support of switches, wireless access points, and plant connectivity. Troubleshoot basic wired and wireless issues: locate the port, confirm the device is up, and document it. Update equipment, IP address, and site records when gear is installed, moved, or removed.

Check devices against team standards (logging, DNS, time, login banner) and prepare routine fixes for an admin. Check wireless access-point status and controller assignment, and record the result. Shadow planned changes and write clear notes. Production changes stay with a network administrator. Educational Requirements: High school diploma, currently in or graduating from a technology-related degree (ex.
