Hermann Services is looking for a full time Freight Billing Analyst to join our company located in Houston, Texas. Position Description: The Freight Billing Analyst is accountable for creating invoices, issuing them to customers by various electronic means, and updating customer files.

Responsibilities

Issue invoices to customers (paper, email, web portal and/ or EDI) Work with operations staff to obtain all required delivery documentation Confirm entered data from customer requirements documentation Organize and categorize billing documents Respond to customer and employee inquiries in a timely manner Update the customer master file with contact information Work with Accounts Receivable Specialist to research any short paid invoices Positively promotes Hermann Services to existing and potential employees and customers Perform other A/R and administrative duties as assigned by Supervisor Other Duties as assigned Requirements: Must be detail oriented Excellent data entry skills including alpha-numeric and 10-key A minimum of 2 years experience Previous background knowledge of trucking industry a plus Knowledge of Seafreight/Drayage invoicing a plus Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office Products TMW, Mcleod and Great Plains experience preferred but not required Strong organizational skills Excellent customer service skills Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance after 30 days of full-time employment 401k with company match Company paid Life Insurance Paid Time Off Disability, Accident, and Critical Illness Insurance Hermann Services is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
