The Carrier Sales internship supports the daily execution of carrier sales operations while gaining first-hand experience in the transportation industry.
This role provides meaningful exposure to freight brokerage, carrier partnerships, and transportation operations, enabling interns to apply classroom knowledge in a professional environment while developing the operational, analytical, and professional skills needed to launch a successful career in transportation and logistics.
What You’ll Do Shipment Execution Support: Support assigned shipments from carrier assignment through delivery by coordinating with carriers, monitoring activity, and helping identify and resolve potential issues. Carrier Procurement: Assist with sourcing carrier capacity while gaining hands-on experience with transportation pricing, market conditions, carrier selection, and the procurement process.
Carrier Stratification: Help identify, qualify, and onboard new carriers while building professional relationships and maintaining accurate carrier information and documentation. Transportation Industry Knowledge: Develop a foundational understanding of freight brokerage, transportation terminology, market fundamentals, and how transportation supports the broader supply chain.
Professional Development: Strengthen communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and professional skills through hands-on experience, coaching, training, and participation in a fast-paced team environment.
