About LVIS LVIS is a Silicon Valley digital healthcare startup headquartered in Palo Alto, developing NeuroMatch, an FDA 510(k)-cleared AI-powered EEG analysis software designed to support the diagnosis of neurological disorders including epilepsy and sleep disorders. LVIS is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to oversee and scale company operations across HR, compliance, legal coordination, business administration, and organizational management. Working closely with the leadership team and department heads, this role will help drive operational strategy, build scalable internal processes, and support the company's continued growth in a fast-paced startup environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating across both strategic and hands-on responsibilities and has a proven ability to create structure, improve efficiency, and drive execution within a growing organization. This individual will play a key role in building the operational foundation necessary to support the company's continued growth.

Requirements

Responsibilities Lead and oversee day-to-day company operations and organizational processes. Partner with the leadership team and department heads on operational strategy and company scaling initiatives. Build and improve operational workflows, systems, and internal processes to support growth and efficiency. Develop and track key operational metrics and performance indicators.

Drive cross-functional collaboration and accountability across teams. Oversee HR and organizational operations, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Manage contracts, vendor agreements, and operational documentation. Support corporate compliance, governance, and risk management processes.

Coordinate with external legal counsel, accountants, insurance providers, and other professional service partners. Support budgeting, operational planning, and resource allocation efforts. Coordinate strategic projects and company-wide initiatives. Support cross-functional collaboration across U.S. and global teams.

Qualifications

• Required 8+ years of experience in operations, business management, HR, legal operations, compliance, or related fields. Strong operational leadership and organizational management skills. Experience managing contracts, compliance, and business operations. Proven ability to implement processes and systems in a growing organization. Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment. High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership.

Qualifications

• Preferred Legal background or experience with corporate/legal operations. Experience working at startups, healthcare companies, medical device companies, or technology companies. Familiarity with U.S. employment practices and operational compliance requirements. Experience supporting executive leadership teams and company growth initiatives. Experience managing cross-functional teams and strategic projects.

Benefits

$170,000 - $200,000 Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
