JOB LOCATION

  • Wilkes-Barre General Hospital POSITION PURPOSE Responsible for assisting the Disease Specific Program Manager in development, implementation, and evaluation of Disease-Specific programs, this includes Chest Pain, Stroke and Sepsis Program services with the goal of maintaining and enhancing the quality of care delivered to these patients and ensuring compliance with recommended practices/guidelines, regulatory requirements as well as accreditation for Chest Pain and Stroke Program services. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania with a minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute care setting. Must have understanding of Total Quality Management and statistical analysis. Associate degree required. Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes Managerial skills, clinical expertise, teach/instruct, clerical accuracy, communication skills, listening abilities, independent thinking/sound judgment; ability to deal with stress, able to react to emergency and crisis situations, committed to quality of care. Clinical, managerial, communication, problem-solving, teaching skills. Independent thinker, ability to make sound judgments, ability to handle stress, ability to react to emergency and crisis situations, commitment to quality care Licenses/Certificates Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania BLS required and must be completed prior to end of orientation period
