  • WILMINGTON, VT, Position Type: Seasonal, Salary Range: $28.00 - $35.00Hourly, Food and Beverage Lead The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain Approximately 30 Hours per Week | $28–$35 per Hour (including tips) Bring Your Fine Dining Skills to One of Vermont's Premier Private Clubs The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain is looking for a polished, service-minded Food and Beverage Lead to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves being on the floor and behind the bar, delivering the kind of attentive, gracious service our members value. If you have fine dining and upscale casual dining experience, enjoy crafting a great drink, and like helping your teammates shine during a busy service, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Deliver exceptional service in our Lodge and Mountain Restaurants, anticipating member needs with warmth and professionalism. Work behind the bar as needed, preparing cocktails, wine, and beer with accuracy and care. Serve as a go-to team member during service, supporting fellow servers and bartenders and helping keep service flowing smoothly.

Help set the tone for the shift by modeling high standards for presentation, timing, and hospitality. Assist with private events, holiday functions, and special Club programming. Share menu and beverage knowledge with members and help newer team members learn the ropes. Keep dining and bar areas clean, stocked, and ready for service.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Fine dining serving experience, ideally in a private club, resort, hotel, or upscale restaurant. Bartending experience and solid knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits. A genuine passion for hospitality and a calm, professional presence with guests. Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude. Availability to work occasional nights and weekends.

Must be 18 years or older. Serv. Safe, TIPS, or similar certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain. Why Join Us? At The Hermitage Club, service isn't just about completing tasks.
