Avis Rental Sales Agent

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual who enjoys working as part of a team and is confident working independently. This is a varied role based at our Airport location, with the flexibility to work weekdays and weekends. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets and supporting the day-to-day operations of our rental locations, including vehicle movements and fleet coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Respond to and resolve customer queries, concerns and disputes. Complete daily reporting, cash handling and end-of-day cash reconciliations. Independently operate City office operations, including moving vehicles between the office and washbay.

Drive vehicles between Airport, City and Service Centre locations as required. Complete monthly audits and rental damage reporting, including applicable customer charges. Monitor fleet availability, communicate vehicle shortages and coordinate inter-branch fleet movements. Attend team meetings and actively participate in company health and safety initiatives.

About You

Enthusiastic, motivated and customer-focused, with a positive attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Confident working both independently and as part of a team. Well-organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities. Comfortable handling cash, completing reports and working with daily operational processes.

Retail sales and/or customer service experience preferred, but not essential. Full, clean driver's licence. Good command of written and spoken English. Available to work weekdays and weekends. Further information Based in Queenstown, the role is full-time with a minimum 30 hours per week, pay range is from $26.00 to $28.
