Geotechnical Materials Laboratory Manager

Testing Express provides state-of-the-art testing facilities in our laboratory to measure the mechanical and physical properties of soil, rock, geosynthetics, aggregate, concrete, and other geo-materials.

Will utilize best practices and advanced testing equipment to provide fast, accurate results. We are looking for a Geotechnical Materials Laboratory Manager to join our team based in Elmsford, NY.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Conduct quality system laboratory tests. Implement, improve & maintain quality system through documentation, proficiency, accreditations. Prepare QA project reports. Analyze tests and ensure they are conducted in accordance with our quality system laboratory training programs. Provide quotes/pricing to clients in a timely manner.

Oversee the daily operation of Geo. Testing Express. As part of the management team supervise laboratory employee Qualifications : The minimum requirements for this position are: Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related engineering field. Two years of experience in any suitable occupation related to Geotechnology.

Experience must include working in a geotechnical laboratory environment, with supervisory experience. Experience with soils and soil testing is required.
