CNC Lathe Operator

Responsibilities

• Experience: Preferably 5 years of experience in CNC lathe operation.
• Measurement Skills: Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
• Machine Operation: Capable of running and maintaining part quality on 2 to 3 machines simultaneously.
• Tool Changes: Able to perform their own tool changes efficiently.
• Blueprint Reading: Can read and understand blueprints accurately.
• Process Adherence: Follows part Process Sheets meticulously.
• Code Knowledge: Knowledgeable in M & G codes.
• CNC Functions: Familiar with basic CNC functions, including single block, optional stop, cycle stop, and feedrate override.
• Tool Offsets: Able to make precise tool offsets.
• Work Environment: Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Physical Requirements: Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Teamwork: Works well in a team environment.
• CNC Setups: Capable of performing CNC setups independently. Operational Duties:
• Daily Maintenance: Perform daily equipment maintenance inspections, including lubrication, fluid checks, and chip handling
• Program Loading: Execute program loading and verification procedures as required
• Quality Assurance: Inspect products during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all industry safety standards and maintain necessary certifications
