A Snapshot of Your Day. Join Siemens Energy's Digital Grid Operations Excellence team and gain hands-on experience developing software applications, automation solutions, and AI-enabled workflows used by teams across the business. You will support the design, development, and deployment of software applications and AI-powered process automation solutions using platforms such as Copilot and Claude.

Working with teams across Innovation Management, Portfolio & Product Management, Sales, Quality, and Operational Excellence, you will help connect data, streamline workflows, and improve product lifecycle management processes. You will gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and AI technologies while building an automated portfolio management platform that supports the delivery of next-generation digital grid solutions.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Innovation Management, Portfolio & Product Management, Sales, Operational Excellence, Quality Management, and Process Management to gather requirements and define automation opportunities.

You will design, develop, test, and support intelligent software applications and automated workflows that improve portfolio and product lifecycle management processes.You will leverage tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, JIRA, Confluence, OnePM, and AI platforms including Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude to build integrated digital solutions.

You will define project plans, document requirements and decisions, establish testing criteria, and support solution acceptance activities.You will apply Agile development methodologies, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and continuously improve solutions through stakeholder feedback.What You Bring. You are currently studying or have recently completed a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Bachelor's and Master's candidates are both welcome to apply.You have gained experience through academic projects, personal projects, internships, or other hands-on work in software development and testing.You have exposure to Microsoft technologies and tools, ideally including SharePoint, Power BI, or the wider Microsoft ecosystem.

You have experience with Python or a strong interest in developing your coding skills. Knowledge of JavaScript, C#, or other programming languages is a plus.You are curious about AI, automation, and digital solutions and are excited to explore technologies such as Copilot, Power Platform, and intelligent workflow automation.

You enjoy solving problems, learning new technologies, working collaboratively with different stakeholders, and turning ideas into practical solutions.About the Team. The Digital Grid Operations Excellence team is part of Siemens Energy’s Grid Technologies Digital Grid organization. The team focuses on improving the way digital grid products and solutions are planned, developed, managed, and delivered.

By combining process excellence, automation, and digital technologies, the team enables better collaboration across product, innovation, sales, quality, and operational functions. Team members work on initiatives that integrate multiple tools, data sources, and workflows into efficient, scalable solutions. Through the use of AI, automation, and modern software platforms, the team helps drive the next generation of digital grid innovation within Siemens Energy.
