Warehouse Driver

Job Title: Delivery Driver Job Summary: Delivery Driver’s job is to transport goods from our warehouse to customers' locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate different routes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver goods to customers' locations in a timely and safe manner. Ensure that all deliveries are made according to the established schedule. Verify delivery orders, ensure accuracy, and handle all associated paperwork. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle. Inspect the vehicle regularly to ensure it is in good working condition.

Follow traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing customer concerns or questions about the delivery. Load and unload deliveries as needed. Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or damages to the supervisor. Communicate any delays or issues that may affect delivery schedules.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role. Ability to operate a delivery vehicle, such as a van or truck. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying packages.

Knowledge of local roads and routes. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Working Conditions: Full-time position with flexible hours. Must be able to work in varying weather conditions. Occasional overtime may be required.
