Integration & Test (I&T) LBTF IPT Lead

Job description

Standard Job Description Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.

Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.

Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline in software, hardware, systems, mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education, with nine years of professional experience; or seven years of professional experience with a related master’s degree Equivalent experience/combined education will be considered Experience with Software, Systems, Hardware or Maintenance Engineering Lifecycles, test and trials Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical members of the engineering/management staff and personnel assigned to related work Aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment Have a high degree of initiative and autonomy Have a high learning ability Ability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment Experience as a CAM (Cost Account Manager) Experience leading projects, teams, and/or development efforts Experience with risk and opportunity identification and mitigation.

Desired Skills Familiarity with SysML or other object-oriented design methodology Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), Cameo, Clearcase, Clearquest or Windchill Experience with Agile methods Experience with Military domain Experience with Sensors or Ship integration Experience with Change Management, Requirements Management, Test and Trials (T&T), Security, Safety, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)/ Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) or Environmental Qualification.

Baseline control experience and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience Experience as an IPT Lead Possess strong communication, social, and problem resolution skills
