POSITION DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced Road Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of heavy trucks, digger derricks, bucket trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment used in powerline construction and maintenance. This role provides on-the-road (field) service, keeping crews operational and safe across job sites.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified Individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions considering business necessity. _____________________________________________________________________________________ POSITION REQUIREMENTS Required: 2+ years of experience as a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic, or equivalent technical training/certification Strong working knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and heavy truck electrical systems Ability to diagnose and repair issues both in-shop and in the field Valid driver's license Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and travel to job sites as needed Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Preferred (not required): Experience working on digger derricks, bucket trucks, or other powerline/utility construction equipment Familiarity with the powerline or utility construction industry and its equipment demands CDL license ASE certifications (Diesel, Hydraulics, Electrical) Experience with DOT inspection requirements _____________________________________________________________________________________ Required Physical Demands: This role does require the physical ability to climb, bend stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, and repetitive motions.
