Ac & Refrigeration Technician

AC & REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN Job Summary: The A/C & refrigeration technician is responsible for promoting full customer satisfaction by ensuring facility upkeep and maintenance and preservation of asset life through application of well-established concepts and innovative ideas by a highly skilled, equipped and motivated workforce.

Responsibilities

Inspecting A/C and refrigeration equipment daily to ensure proper functioning. Performing preventative maintenance work on A/C and refrigeration equipment. Responding promptly to emergency breakdown of A/C and refrigeration equipment & systems. Checking ice machines and refrigerators for proper operation and temperature.

Maintaining proper logs and service records of A/C and refrigeration equipment. Working on maintenance requests submitted by various departments. Assisting with establishing a stock of supplies and equipment necessary to carry out work.

Qualifications

Minimum High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma. Certificate from recognised Tertiary and/or Vocational Training Institution. Skill level and/or Technical Competence equivalent to at least Level II HEART Trust NTA certification.
