You know commercial HVAC and plumbing inside and out, you like sharing that knowledge, and you’re the person other techs turn to when something gets complicated. You stay level-headed when a customer needs answers, and you take pride in being a steady link between the field and the office. What you should know about our team You’ll work hands-on in the field while training and guiding other technicians, serve as the go-between for techs and department heads, and field some customer calls and facility manager communication.

Overall Purpose The Lead Service Technician keeps our clients up and running while raising the skill level of the whole service team, combining expert hands-on work with training, mentorship, and clear communication between technicians, department heads, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support HVAC/Plumbing Technicians with on-the-job training and technical guidance Serve as the communication link between technicians and department heads Field customer service calls and communicate with facility managers at client sites Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and plumbing systems, including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, VAV systems, and backflow prevention Read and work from commercial mechanical blueprints and specifications Diagnose system issues and perform preventive maintenance Coordinate on site with electrical, sheet metal, and fire protection crews Document work performed and pull permits as required Skills & Experience Required: 5-10 years of commercial HVAC and/or plumbing experience, including training or leading other technicians Formal HVAC or plumbing apprenticeship, or trade school plus field experience EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred) OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Strong communication skills Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites Preferred: Journeyman or master-level trade card Backflow prevention certification Applicable local/municipal HVAC and plumbing licensure Experience working alongside multiple trades on active job sites The Full Package Health insurance options (medical, dental, vision) 401k retirement plan with company match Paid holidays and PTO Paid training and professional growth potential
