Carrier Sales Representative

FLS Transportation Service is currently seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to join our rapidly growing organization. Responsibilities

Negotiating with carriers in order to maximize profitability/ improve efficiency by identifying ways to improve cost savings; Use various software tools to assist in finding equipment/freight and calculating rates; Scheduling/Coordinating truck shipments and addressing any issues that come up during transit; Maintaining carrier database by keeping pricing and contact information current; Auditing/correcting carrier freight invoices and BOL's as necessary for payment; Dispatching drivers/carriers on routes; Ensuring accurate recording of arrival and departure times.

Requirements

Experience in freight brokerage/3PL, with a desire to grow professionally (an asset); Experience with Salesforce Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines; Demonstrated ability to stay current and accurately interpret industry trends; Excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry systems); Ability to positively influence culture and behavior and work effectively with all levels within the company; Career driven - this is not just a job but an opportunity to grow; Email and digital communications for job postings will only come from the @flstransport.
