Flow Line Deburr Technician
Job description
Position Summary
Successful individuals will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing flow lines of aerospace gears, and associated hardware. Individuals shall follow and execute on all written instructions related to non-automated deburring, as well as automated deburring and part marking
Essential Functions

Ability to perform precise manual deburring
-
Ability to load/unload CNC equipment that aid in automated deburring
-
Maintain part traceability by marking parts with manual and mechanical methods
-
Read, understand and follow operation sheets and process instructions
-
Inspect work efficiently to operation sheets
-
Identify visually non-conforming product and report to supervisor
-
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
-
Operate with proficiency while always focusing on safety and quality
-
Communicate effectively with management and employees
-
Excellent attitude and teamwork
Experience and Education
-
A minimum of 2 years of work experience in an OEM aerospace deburring
-
Reasonable mechanical aptitude
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Certificate from vocational school or college program is a plus
Competencies and Skills

Attention to detail

Ability to safely use high speed hand deburring tools
-
Skilled with basic hand deburring tools
-
Ability to work with magnification and enhanced lighting instruments
-
Inspection tool competence with calipers, thread gages, go / no-go gages, ext.
-
Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions

Results-driven

Basic computer literacy
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Authorization

The employee is frequently to occasionally required to stand, walk between work areas and talk to or hear coworkers within one's work area.
