Cardiac Monitor Technician (Part-Time)

Responsible for monitoring patient status via electronic systems and notification of the patient care team when a variance or audible alarm occurs according to policy.

Education

High School Graduate or Equivalent required. Licensure/ Certification: ECG Certification required within 12 months of hire date by the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine. Experience: Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience strongly preferred. Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Completion of cardiac arrhythmia course and/or demonstrated competency in rhythm analysis upon hire.

Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Proficiency in computer programs required to perform the role.
