Temporary Pediatric Dental Assistant

We’re looking for a dependable, energetic, and patient-focused individual who enjoys working with children and helping them feel comfortable during their dental visits. Position Details: Assignment Dates: November 12, 2026 – February 4, 2027 Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and two Saturdays per month Travel: Must be able to travel between our Miramar and Coral Springs offices (mileage reimbursement will be provided) Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and help ensure smooth clinical workflow.

Help children feel comfortable and safe throughout their dental visits. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment. Provide age-appropriate oral hygiene instructions and post-treatment care guidance to patients and their parents or guardians. Anticipate the dentist’s needs and provide support during procedures.

Maintain accurate patient records and follow all infection control and safety protocols. Perform permitted dental assisting duties in accordance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Previous dental assisting experience; pediatric dental experience is a plus. Friendly, patient, and compassionate approach when working with children and families. Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced dental environment. Familiarity with dental software and technology is a plus.

Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between the assigned offices. Required Certifications: Active Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification . X-Rays certification.
