Job Summary

The Assistant Bank Manager plays a key role in partnering with the Bank Manager to make a proactive impact on our employees and customers. The Assistant Bank Manager is an hourly in-person position and reports to the Bank Manager.

Essential Functions

Management & Development Coach employees to effectively identify opportunities with customers Manage employees’ work schedules, monitor overtime, and assign tasks as needed Train and supervise employees to ensure operational, sales & service, and professional development Manage bank location expenses Ensure employees adhere to all bank policies and procedures Participate in community events Model a culture of positive employee morale and ownership Resolve customer complaints and questions Operations Responsible for operational excellence and soundness of bank location Prepare team and location for annual regulatory audits Partner with communication team to maximize community impact Guide employees in escalated or difficult workplace situations Sales & Service Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer-focused environment Process routine customer transactions as well as assist employees with more complex transactions Respond to customer needs to create positive solutions.

Qualifications

Position Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Teller or related experience within a bank or credit union Proven knowledge of banking products and services as well as standard banking procedures and regulations Must have a current Notary Public or be willing to become one (at the bank’s expense) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information professionally and clearly Careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills Strong work ethic and high integrity Other Requirements Must reside in Oklahoma and pass a background and credit check
