Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established protocols. Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in health status, and communicate concerns to the appropriate medical personnel. Complete nursing assessments, documentation, and other required medical records accurately. Collaborate with healthcare colleagues and correctional staff to support patient safety and continuity of care. Help ensure patients receive timely, appropriate care while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Qualifications

✅ Qualifications Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Georgia or a compact license valid for practice in Georgia, as applicable. Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it as required. Strong assessment, communication, and clinical judgment skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Commitment to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and compassionate care. Ability to work a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but your nursing skills, professionalism, and willingness to make a difference are what matter most!
