Evening Housekeeper

Evening Housekeeper – Long-Term Care Facility Join Our Team! We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and hardworking Evening Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. Our long-term care facility is dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Position: Evening Housekeeper Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), including every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

Housekeeping experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform frequent walking, bending, reaching, and standing throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Empty trash and replace liners. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all assigned areas. Replenish housekeeping supplies as needed. Follow infection control procedures and facility cleaning standards. Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.

Safely operate housekeeping equipment and use cleaning chemicals according to facility policies. Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers.
