JOB SUMMARY

MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) Clerk manages inventory, processes orders, and ensures the smooth flow of materials and supplies for maintenance, repair, and operational activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of MRO inventory, including parts, tools, and supplies. Receive, store, and issue MRO materials. Perform cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy. Restock inventory levels as needed. Order Processing: Process purchase orders for MRO materials. Prepare and maintain shipping documents.

Manage incoming and outgoing shipments. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of MRO activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory transactions. Prepare reports and documentation as needed. Coordination: Communicate with maintenance technicians and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure efficient procurement of MRO materials. Other Duties Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety procedures and regulations. May assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) at least 2 yrs. or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Possess or have ability to become forklift certified Driver’s License or equivalent LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents, including protocols, standard operating procedures, customer orders, and pick tickets. REASONING ABILITY: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods through out the day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly exposed to hot, humid, and cold conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.

Noise level is moderate WORK ENVIRONMENT: The performance of this position requires exposure to the warehouse areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and foot protection. The floor manager is frequently exposed to hot, humid, and cold conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
