Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Oncology

Job Shift: Days Job Type: Per Diem The Registered Nurse, using critical thinking skills, coordinates and provides safe, quality care to patients in a family centered care environment, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assists in organizing patient care activities as assigned.

Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational and growth and development needs of the patient, recognizing family strengths and individuality. Develops a written plan of care using assessment data and utilizing the family centered approach. Implements nursing care plan. Evaluates patient's response to interventions. Demonstrates leadership skills Education: Required: Graduate of Registered Nurse Program Experience: None License: REGISTERED NURSE Certifications: BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) PALS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) within 180 days for inexperienced), Completion of APHON course within 2 years of hire
