Program Director, Medical Sonography

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Program Director is responsible for the administration, planning, implementation, overall development, management, supervision, and evaluation of the DMS program. This includes supervision of faculty and students. The position is a full-time position. The Director does not have a teaching assignment but may fill in for faculty during absences or staffing shortages.

The program director is responsible for the structure as well as the daily operation of the program, including organization, administration, periodic review and evaluation, continued development, and general effectiveness of program curricula. The responsibilities of the program director must not be adversely affected by educationally unrelated functions.
