• New Lenox, IL, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $16.00 - $20.00Hourly, + Job Title and Overview Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager, the primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of skilled tasks to maintain the building, grounds and vehicles of LWSRA. + Essential Job Functions Responsible for providing a clean and safe environment. Performs custodial duties including cleaning restrooms, office areas, kitchen, windows, floors, disposal of waste, etc. Performs room/building set ups and take downs. Attends major events on weekends to assist with this. Performs building grounds maintenance including but not limited to weeding, mulching, trimming, snow removal, etc. Assists with minor repairs of vehicles, grounds, and building as needed. Opens and closes, locks and unlocks, facility as needed. Attend meetings, conferences, related workshops and professional development opportunities. Other duties as assigned. + Education and Experience Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. Ability to learn and perform standard maintenance procedures. Ability to set up and take down tables, chairs, and other equipment. OSHA 10 certification desired + Compensation and Benefits Hourly Range: $16-$20 + Working Conditions Working Conditions Details Immediate Supervisor Facilities Manager Hours of work Part-Time Safety Responsibilities Oversee the safety of building and grounds under the direction of the Facilities Manager. Environmental Considerations May be required to work outdoors during various weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures. Special conditions or requirements Must have a current Illinois Driver’s License and be able to drive agency vehicles. Focus Area N/A + Evaluation and Review Performance Evaluation completed by the Facilities Manager annually.
