Job description
The Testing Specialist works under the supervision of the Coordinator of Testing Services to assist in the administration of standardized testing activities. Test administration includes registration, fee collection, test setup, results reporting, and any required paperwork (filing, deposits, etc.) Testing Specialist will deal directly with students, faculty, and staff.
Position requires Saturday and evening hours. Some travel throughout the College service area also required.
Responsibilities include
Administer all placement, certification, entrance, and other exams as offered through the testing center. Obtain certification to administer exams as required for testing services operations. Greet students in office and assist them with information and test registration. Answer phone and provide testing information by email.
Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position. Bachelor’s degree required. Previous educational experience (teacher’s aide, test proctor, library work, etc.) desired but not required. Must have customer service skills to interact with colleagues and public accessing services. Excellent organizational and planning skills required.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite. Valid driver’s license required. Salary range is $15.00 - $16.00 per hour. Position will work up to 19.5 hours per week.
