Job Summary

The after-school tutoring teacher provides targeted academic support to student athletes in individual or small-group settings. This role focuses on reinforcing classroom lessons, clarifying difficult concepts, and building strong study habits in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist students with daily homework assignments, projects, and test preparation. Lesson Customization: Create personalized learning plans or tailored activities that match each student's unique needs and learning style. Progress Tracking: Monitor student performance, evaluate academic growth, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Parent Communication: Update parents or guardians on student progress, ongoing challenges, and achievements. Environment Management: Maintain a clean, orderly, and encouraging learning space, whether in person or online.

Qualifications

A valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate: multiple subjects. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to connect easily with students, parents, and school staff.
