• Exton, PA, Position Type: Part Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $13.50 - $15.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Program/Youth Sports/Adult, Embark on a Journey of Impactful Adventure The Child Watch Associate is responsible for providing a safe and caring environment for children while in YMCA care. Engages with parents and children in a positive way in Child Watch to further the mission of the YMCA of Greater Brandywine. Who Are We? Maintain a clean and risk-free room arrangement. Maintain records, including, (but not limited to): accident and incident reports, sign in/out sheets, attendance records. Greet parents and children daily using names in all interactions. Report and/or direct parental concerns to supervisor. Use positive, age-appropriate behavior management tools, including redirection and positive reinforcement, using the Y voice at all times. Ensure compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED preferred Must be at least 15 years of age or older Experience with children preferred Obtain and maintain all additional new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire Work Conditions and Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
