Heavy Equipment Technician-App - DPW-Fleet Services

Position is responsible for providing maintenance and repair on the City's heavy vehicles and equipment in support of Department operating activities. This position is focused primarily on Preventive Maintenance (PM), Vehicle/Equipment inspections, and minor repairs. When this type of work is not readily available, the apprentice may be called upon to assist a higher classification technician; may be assigned regular repairs to vehicles/equipment and may request guidance or technical assistance from a higher classification technician.
