1D Bonder
Job description
The 1D Bonder works under the guidance of a foreman or supervisor. The role involves assembling components, operating approved hand machinery, interpreting 1D drawings, and maintaining product quality, safety and a clean work environment to meet daily production targets. Job Description: Follow work orders and instructions from the foreman or supervisor Assemble components using hand tools, approved machinery and 1D bonder equipment Interpret 1D technical drawings to ensure correct part placement Meet daily production targets and adhere to the production schedule Inspect assembled parts for compliance with quality standards Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area, supporting 5S initiatives Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards or quality issues promptly Record production data and log any deviations accurately Wear required PPE and follow all company safety policies Assist teammates with tasks to ensure smooth workflow Job Requirement: Minimum SPM or equivalent secondary education Bonder/Laminator certificate is an added advantage.
Basic mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools Basic understanding of bonding and lamination processes. Ability to read and interpret simple 1D technical drawings Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity Physically fit and able to work in production environment. Commitment to safety, quality and housekeeping standards Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Basic literacy and numeracy skills Willingness to learn and develop assembly skills Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
